Design challenge specification

The design challenge “To make our participant’s speech more audible without creating any discomfort.”  was created in the beginning phase of the project. This was to help our participants' wish. Our participant participates in public speaking and due to his current situation, he felt the need of help in his audibility. We received insight into his obstacles when it comes to speeches and the most important was the spasms in his body limiting his control over his body. While our initial idea was headed in the right direction to help our participant, we found it lacking in detail for addressing the obstacle. Therefore, we came up with a new design challenge “To make our participant more comfortable when speaking, by providing tools to support and empower the control over his body's involuntary reactions.” With the new design challenge, it becomes clearer where our focus is in tackling the problem.
